About the mountain shelter

Notice

All mountain shelter on Mt. Yakeishi are unmanned. No reservations are required.
Since these huts are shared facilities, please use them with respect and good manners.

*The huts are provided as emergency shelters, available to anyone in case of sudden weather changes.

Waste Disposal

When using the mountain shelter, please take all garbage home with you.
Even items left behind with good intentions (such as matches, lighters, or canned food) will eventually become waste. Please carry everything out.

During the climbing season, the hut may become full.
The interior is bright and well-insulated against the cold.
●Toilets
The hut is equipped with a simple flush toilet (summer, using stream water) and a non-flush toilet (winter).
Wastewater is treated using a natural purification system that relies on the terrain.
Only toilet paper should be used.other paper products may cause damage.
Please bring your own toilet paper.
Do not dispose of sanitary products or other foreign objects, as they will cause blockages.

Fresh spring water is available nearby at Ginmeisui. If drinking untreated water, please do so at your own risk.

The interior is bright and well-insulated against the cold.
●Toilets
The hut has a simple flush toilet (summer, using rainwater) and a non-flush toilet (winter).
Please note: the rainwater supply may run low depending on weather conditions.
If water does not flow, fetch rainwater from the collection tank near the hut entrance and pour it manually.
As with Ginmeisui Hut, only toilet paper should be used. Bring your own supply, and never dispose of sanitary products or foreign objects.

Fresh spring water is available nearby at Kinmeisui. If drinking untreated water, please do so at your own risk.
